nd so there were five New Media certificate students. Each at our last semester at The University of Georgia, we were tasked with working alongside quite a notable client: Home Depot. Assigned to design an innovative scheduling user experience inside the app for the company's private brand of smart home products, we have worked alongside the app's software developers to write user testing guides, design prototypes on Adobe XD, and and provide feedback on the app's current stages.

About
Ever forgot to turn the oven off before leaving home? Left a light switch on while out of town? The frustrations of the past are no more, thanks to Home Depot's new line of smart home products.
The Home Depot Smart Home team has worked alongside developers this semester to assist in crafting an innovative user experience for scheduling one's smart home devices, all inside one app. After personally testing several smart devices and receiving client feedback, we realized that no brand has mastered the scheduling feature within their smart home apps. With our UX expertise we helped our client make a scheduling experience that stands out from the competition.
We are excited to bring you the final deliverables from our semester, including a new scheduling prototype designed on Adobe XD, a custom user testing guide, and a comprehensive app critique! We look forward welcoming to the Hubspace app to the world, and hope it will bring ease to many's daily routine.
